3D TV and Blu ray movies

Decided to part with our very, very old plasma TV (over 5 years old!!!) - promised myself not to be swayed by the salesman to buy a 3D TV as I don't think it is necessary at this point.

But as expected, I'm a sucker for technology still ended up with a 3D TV Samsung 6 Series Smart TV:

No regrets though as it's an excellent 3D TV.  My wife and kids love it. 

So far we have all the Shrek series that came free with it.  Then we bought 3D blu ray titles from Amazon like Alice in Wonderland, Tron, Gnome and Juliet.

We'll see whether 3D will take off but Blu ray alone is great technology.  It's good to see it's becoming more and more affordable.

We have 'movie nights' with our kids at home which is great bonding time with them.  Moments we will treasure and we take advantage and when they are still young.
Funny thing was on the 1st weekend my daughter sat on one of the 3D glasses!!!!!! Waaaaaah - see the results below:
